i was in a mood to watch the DBZ movies UNABRIDGED for the first time and i started with bojack unbound, the first act was pretty damn good, it got a surprising amount of laughs out of me, mostly from krillin, who stole the show whenever he was on screen, and when the villains were being introduced, i got hyped XD even if there was little to know build up to their arrival. but that hype fell... hard.

for real, the villains introductions had more impact than their actual personalities, hell, their NAMES are barely even mentioned, and even at that, you only learn 3 of their names, including bojack, you might as well call them "sword minion", "brute minion", "token female minion" (AKA "boobie minion") and "midget minion"

as for bojack... he's no different.

as a villain he's definitely a step down from perfect cell, which to be fair, is to be expected, but still, his lack of personality seriously weighs him down, which i feel could be fixed if they gave him more to do. if you think about it,
i know king kai is old but you'd think he'd remember something like the murderous long john ginger and his merry and hairy crew squatting in his planet, and be immediately concerned when said planet is now gone and said crew is released, i mean, he remembered the entire history of the saiyans, he could have even SHOWED us the backstory instead of just giving us a brief explanation, it could shed some light visually on what bojack is capable of and what he's all about, plus we could see king kai actually FIGHT! see the guy who made the kaioken, PERFORM the kaioken, and the guy who created the spirit bomb, USE the spirit bomb... AND HAVE IT WORK! maybe...

though you could say it ain't the films fault since it's only, like, 50 minutes, idk the average length of a dragon ball movie but the first broly movie was like an hour, like hot damn, this must've been rushed

overall i give this movie a 5.6 out of 10, this flick had potential, MYSTIC GOHAN levels of potential, but it just fell flat, hopefully the abridged version will make it better.

yep, godzilla, king of the monsters, for those of you who don't know, i am a huge fan of godzilla, the first few movies i watched were Godzilla Vs. King Ghidora and Godzilla Vs. Space Godzilla

also for those of you who somehow don't know, i like ANIME! XD

this image is TOTALLY me by the way :bademoticon: X'DDD

but jokes aside, i like both these things, so you know i'd be excited for those two to Finally Make a baby XD

Godzilla: Planet Of the monsters! XD I watched it months ago and i loved it, even with its flaws, you could definitely say it's one of the most interesting Godzilla flicks we had in a while, The Humans are now trying to take back their home from godzilla instead of just defend it and this godzilla was Definitely a huge change from what he was originally, this godzilla is a... plant Based Life form... yeah, once you know WHY they decided to do that it makes sense but you can't deny they jumped over JAWS with that decision Image result for Jaws Gif

this isn't the first time they've done something like this with Godzilla and for the most part i was cool with it, as long as the movie's good and he's still a badass i won't really complain, but i have to ask... if he's a "malicious entity created from a combination of the restless souls of those killed as a result of the Japanese military's actions during World War II" like in GMK, a Mutated Fish like in Shin Gojira, or... a plant... THEN WHY THE FLIP DOES HE ALWAYS END UP LOOKING LIKE A MOTHER FUCKING MUTATED T-REX!?
i mean this isn't a complaint because, yeah, these incarnations are interesting but come on, if you're just gonna keep the iconic design of a T-rex Body and leaf shaped spines with but updated to fit his origins... then try working in SOMETHING pre-historic! like have this anime plant godzilla be a fusion of a dinosaur and the plant life its bones were buried under or something, come on. but like i said, it's mostly just a nitpick and it doesn't even matter because he was still pretty freaking cool and the movie was still enjoyable, besides this journal isn't really about the first flick, today i'm going to be talking about THE SEQUEL!

Godzilla: City On The Edge Of Battle.

first of all, i liked this movie too, hell i think in some areas it's a bit of an improvement over the first one, specifically when it comes to how it handles the characters. yeah, it has its flaws, in fact is has some pretty noticeable flaws but personally i thought it was pretty enjoyable, however the main criticism it's been getting from most is the fact that it's almost the exact same movie as the first, and they're more or less correct, for example, their plan to kill godzilla was almost the exact same as it was in the first flick, except this time Mecha-Godzilla City was involved... you heard me folks, Mecha-Godzilla. City.... More on that later. and another would be that some things don't go anywhere, at least not in this flick, like the people who are still on earth who are obviously connected to mothra are only there to help heal the characters, they mention that the red powder stuff that covers their bodies might have made the soldiers sick but that doesn't go anywhere, also they foreshadow mothra possibly coming back to fight godzilla in the next film... possibly, along with another monster who destroyed the planet of one of the aliens who tried to help earth fight godzilla, who is supposedly more evil and horrifying than him... possibly.
i say "Possibly"because there is a good chance neither will appear at all. why? well it's mostly because of a certain someone who didn't show up in this film despite being heavily apart of the advertisement and literally in the FUCKING TAGLINE! The last hope of mankind <MECHA-GODZILLA>, is activated.
But, as you can see, he doesn't, at least not in the way you were hoping for, i think we only get to see his head. but in actuality, we get MECHA GODZILLA CITY! YES! fan-freaking-tastic.
so as it was actually explained in the first flick, Mecha-Godzilla was destroyed when Godzilla attacked the building it was in (maybe godzilla didn't like his design either Related image seriously, people were on and on about how this godzilla incarnation looked like Legendary godzilla grandpa but Mecha Godzilla looks like anguirus fucked a Roach Godzilla vs Gigan - Anguirus [Beckoning] [V.1])
but because it was made of Nano Metal, it rebuilt the facility that made it with it's soul purpose of killing godzilla still in it's programming, this sort of raised questions because if it rebuilt and preserved the facility... then why didn't it rebuild its body...? IDK, one thing about this movie is that there is A LOT of explaining, explaining why something is this way and why something is that way, whether it's accurate or not doesn't even matter to you 'cause all of it ends up flying over your head. i mean i'll give the movie credit, the concept of mecha-godzilla being able to do that is cool and had potential but it ended up being a huge cop-out since we couldn't see Mecha-Godzilla himself fight godzilla and what's worse is that when mecha-godzilla is finally gets in to play in the story, he is constantly praised by the people who were involved in making him, it's like the movie is taunting us for wanting to see him, they said he was so advanced and spectacular, specifically with his metal, which could have led to an awesome fight scene, but instead we got these things called vultures made of the same material, so in actuality, it's not even mecha godzilla that was even relevant in the movie, just his metal, which is also a shame because mecha-godzilla himself could have solved the problem of the movie re-using the same tactic to kill godzilla, but nope, that would have been too cool.

to this films credit the whole mecha godzilla thing to play a part in the movie diving into some serious themes of evolution and what makes monsters, with character development to boot! XD which was actually one of the improvements this movie had, the characters developed, and the characters who were pretty bland before, now had some character to them, it was cool, that was a serious problem with the first flick, there was no development, you weren't reall attached to the characters and when they died... you really didn't care. i honestly laughed when they died XD but when characters die in this flick, you feel a little bad... just a little. and there is a major character death in here, one that could trigger future events... hopefully.

all in all, i actually liked this movie, despite it's major flaws it still stands as being a step-up from the first flick, i give it a solid 7.5/10 (the first being a 7) despite having MAJOR WASTED POTENTIAL! but hey, at least it gave us the glory of burning godzilla destroying shit, THAT'S RIGHT! YOU HEARD ME! Godzilla may not be in the movie until near the final act (another major complaint among fans) but when he shows up, it leads to him becoming burning godzilla, i mean, it's probably not his official name in this movie but hey, if it looks like burning godzilla then it IS burning godzilla. fuck you, fite me. -3-

also i mentioned that one of the aliens foreshadows an evil being worse than godzilla, an evil so fearsome that his people don't even like to say his name. so he whispers it to our main character, if you're a godzilla fan then you already know who it is, hell, he's featured on the poster of the next movie, and his name is.................................................................................................................................................... Ghidora...

THAT'S RIGHT! KING GHIDORA FOR GODZILLA: PLANET EATER! XDDD

at least he better be... -_-

Commission Prices by BlackandRedCynicXD
i got my prices down, people, now take your pic ;)

if you can't read what i wrote down on the sheet then i'll repeat and explain a little more here:

first of all, i have no time limit, just a max amount of commissions i'm willing to take, which is six

- sketches cost $2.00
- full body drawings with flat colors cost $5.00
- full body drawings shaded cost $7.00 (i used a sketchy style of shading as an example but i'm willing to shade in the normal way as well)
- and colored head busts cost $4.00 (shading it would be an extra $2.00)

These Types of drawings I had in mind but if you want something that isn't listed above like shaded sketch or a sketchy bust then please note me and i'll give you a right price, BUT please keep my terms of service in consideration:

- no armor, vehicles, or mechas. those are pretty difficult to draw
-no animals, not even anthros. it's not that i have anything against them, it's just i'm just that i'm not too good at drawing them
- no sexual intercourse. again, i have no problem with them, i've just never drawn them before, however i will draw nudes and lingerie stuff ;)
- no fetishy stuff. that means no vore, inflation, diapers, farts, scat, spanking, piss, etc.
- if you want a drawing with more than one person, then the drawing will cost you extra, like if you want a sketch of 2 people, it'll be $4.00 (2 people X $2:00= $4.00)
- no bugging me asking when i'll be done. it is very annoying, i'll make sure to update you on my progress when i feel it's necessary, don't trip
- i get paid BEFORE i give you the drawing, i hear stories of clients who don't pay up after they get the pic so better safe then sorry, but here's what i'll do: i'll give you a screenshot of part of the drawing to show you that it is in fact finished, and after you pay me, i'll post the whole thing
- I will be accepting payments with my paypal, when the drawing is done i'll note you the link to it and you can pay me then

That is all, i hope some of you are interested, this'll be my first time taking commissions so experience is one of the top priorities besides a profit... i'd still like a profit though-
